2004-07 Scion xB Sub Box Down fire Sealed This is a Scion xB Sub Box design for the 2004-07 xB. Toyota made a very smart move in introducing the Scion line aiming it at the customizing community. The Scion xB has been a very popular vehicle for people to fix up and now you have a few more choices on custom subwoofer boxes for that vehicle. This down fire design allows you to get some great output while protecting the cone of your subs from cargo that you carry. Plus it will help hide the subs from would-be thieves looking through your windows. This box will take up most of the room in the cargo area but you can still carry stuff on top of it. The box is a down fire design that is 2.68cuft with 9” of mounting depth which is perfect for three 8s, two 10s or 12s. It can also be used for three 8s, two 10s ported or a big 12” ported box. Ported subwoofer boxes are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed box will be what you want. This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection. Gallery
