2014-2021 Toyota Tundra Crewmax Sub Box Sealed This is the 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra Crewmax Sub Box for behind the back seat. It follows typical Toyota fashion where there is not a lot of room for adding subwoofers, but we have a solution that will work behind the seat of this truck. This box is going to be suited for mainly shallow mount subs, either 8″, 10″, or maybe certain 12″ shallow subs if the steel back plate is used. The box is 1.08cuft total with a mounting depth on 10s of 3.5″ and that can be made bigger with our steel back plates. The box is incredibly easy to install and allows full function of the back seat as if the box wasn’t even there. Out of sight and out of mind, but great sound. If you have any questions on the box or what subs can fit, please let us know. This box is 1.08cuft of airspace and will work great for some shallow 10s or 12s. You can run 8s if you wish, but there is a lot of airspace for one 8, but more than that would work fine. Mounting depth is only 4.25″ so shallow mount subs are a must. Because of the limited space in this sub box, please specify what speakers you are wanting to use so that we can make sure that they will work in it. This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs.
