2022-up Toyota Tundra CrewMax Sub Box Under Seat Box Sealed This is the 2022-up Toyota Tundra CrewMax Sub Enclosure for under the back seat. It follows typical Toyota fashion where there is not a lot of room for adding subwoofers, but we have a solution that will fit underneath the back seat of this truck. The cargo bin under the back seat may seem like a lot of space, but it has some limits because it is such an oddly shaped space. This enclosure is made from a full fiberglass tub for the bottom and sides and a 3/4″ MDF top. There is zero need for modification to the cargo bins. Our enclosure fits around all the bin’s buildouts for their organizers. To help with installation, the seat backs may be removed, but this is easy and only 4 bolts. This box is 2.6cuft of airspace and will work great for some shallow 10s or 12s. You can run 8s if you wish, but there is a lot of airspace for one or two 8s, but more than that would work fine. Mounting depth is only 4.5″ so shallow mount subs are necessary. Because of the limited space in this sub box, please specify what speakers you are wanting to use so that we can make sure that they will work in it. THIS ENCLOSURE IS MADE TO FIT ALL TUNDRA CREWMAXES OTHER THAN THE HYBRID. THE HYBRID BATTERY TAKES UP THAT WHOLE SPACE. This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want. This box is made of 3/4″ MDF and fiberglass and is fully carpeted on top with matching carpet. The nickel-plated spring-loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
